Brazil’s gas supply landscape has changed dramatically. Pre-salt gas gathering pipelines will no longer be a bottleneck as project ramp-ups faced recent delays and reinjection rates have been higher than previously anticipated. At the same time, yet-to-find volumes will not overload existing infrastructure. Domestic production is cost competitive against import options. With the bottlenecks eliminated, what can we expect for the future?
