Cannery Loop
Report summary
The Cannery Loop gas field is located on the east side of the Cook Inlet, less than five kilometres north of the Kenai gas field. It is sometimes referred to as Kenai C.L.U. by the Alaska regulator. Cannery Loop is wholly-owned and operated by Hilcorp. The field supplies the local market in Anchorage via a contract with Enstar, and was previously used as feed gas for the Kenai LNG plant. The field was developed as a satellite of the main Kenai field in the late 1980s.
