Report summary

The Caratinga area comprises the Caratinga deepwater post salt oil field and the Carimbé discovery. Caratinga is close to the Barracuda field and the two fields shared an FPSO during a five year pilot production phase. However the permanent facilities on each field are separate and the fields are taxed under different ring fences (see separate Barracuda analysis). The pilot production phase ended in 2002 and full commercial development started in February 2005 using the P 48 FPSO. ...
