The Caravel gas field lies approximately 32-kilometres to the northeast of the Shell-operated Corvette field. Caravel has been developed with a Normally Unattended Installation (NUI) tied back to the Corvette platform. The development also includes a tie-in of the Shamrock fields to Caravel's facilities. From Corvette, gas is exported via the Leman facilities for onward transport to the Shell-operated terminal facilities at Bacton.
