Cascade (WR 206) is an oil and associated gas, Lower Tertiary field in the remote Walker Ridge protraction area of the Central Gulf of Mexico. The field was discovered in June 2002 and co-developed with the nearby Chinook (WR 469) field. Cascade achieved first production in February 2012 and Chinook began production in September 2012. The development is using a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, the first ever to be deployed in the Gulf of Mexico.
