Southwestern Energy has agreed to buy Chesapeake's Southern Marcellus and Utica assets for US$5.375 billion in cash. This deal includes 413,000 net acres and 336 mmcfed of production. We currently only assign value to Marcellus development; economic development of the Utica in the area of the acquired acreage is considered prospective at this stage.
