Chestnut
Report summary
Chestnut is a geologically complex oil field located ten kilometres south of the Britannia field in the Central North Sea. Despite being discovered in 1986, it wasn't developed until 2001. The field was developed with an extended single horizontal well, 22/02a-11x, connected to the Crystal Ocean FPSO.The full field development used the Hummingbird Spirit FPSO, the first cylindrical FPSO deployed in the North Sea.
