In Q2 2024, Wood Mackenzie’s analysts travelled to Abidjan and Accra to meet with key operators, the respective petroleum regulators and NOCs. Interest and activity in Cote d’Ivoire is high after recent deepwater discoveries. Ghana is looking to incentivise investment through fiscal reform and is keen to show the mature basin still has plenty of exploration potential.
