Denison Trough
Report summary
The Denison Trough is a group of mature gas fields in the Bowen basin. We estimate that nine fields are producing from an original group of 13, split geographically into two sub-groups of six and seven fields. The southern group is located 50 kilometres west of GLNG's Fairview field. The northern group is 70 kilometres northwest of GLNG's Arcadia field.The first discovery in the area was made in 1962, but development did not start until 1989.
