Report summary
The EPSA Area 91 comprises two onstream oil and wet gas fields - As Sarah and Jakhira - located in the Sirte Basin in eastern Libya. The fields are mature and produced at around 100kb/d until 2008 when production was constrained by OPEC quotas. Since the civil war in 2011, production has been severely impacted by ongoing labour strikes, blockades of export terminals and the deterioration of the security environment in Libya.
