Report summary
The Eridu field is located 150 kilometres west of Basra in the prolific Widyan Basin. Block 10, was awarded to LUKOIL and INPEX Corporation in July 2012 as part of the fourth licensing round. LUKOIL discovered Eridu in February 2017, flowing the test of 8,000 b/d of sweet oil from the Mishrif formation. Six successful appraisal wells have been drilled so far.
