The Forties Area comprises the Forties field and four tie-backs: Aviat, Bacchus, Maule and Tonto. The fields are located in the Central North Sea, 30 kilometres south of the Britannia field.Forties has been developed using five fixed steel production and drilling platforms ('Alpha', 'Bravo', 'Charlie', 'Delta', and 'Echo').
