Block G2/61, covering 3,247 km2, is located in the Gulf of Thailand. The block is divided into three areas: Area A, Area B1 and Area B2. PTTEP received the rights to carry out petroleum exploration and production for Area A on April 24, 2022, and Area B1 and Area B2 on March 8, 2023.
