State-owned Uzbekneftegaz (UNG) operates the Gazli Area, comprising the Gazli underground gas storage facility (UGS) and surrounding gas fields. The development of satellite deposits is an ongoing priority for UNG.Gazli Area gas production has stabilised, having increased rapidly in the late 2010s thanks to large-scale investments.
