Greater Catcher Area
Report summary
The Greater Catcher Area is an FPSO development that includes the Catcher, Varadero, Burgman, Catcher North and Laverda fields. The development lies 20-kilometres southwest of Bittern, in the Central North Sea.The project was sanctioned in June 2014. The first three fields were developed with subsea wells, tied back to the leased Catcher FPSO. The newly-built FPSO, sailing from Singapore, arrived on location in October 2017.
