Bahar Energy, a subsidiary of Greenfields Petroleum (USA), leads the development of the offshore Gum Deniz and Bahar fields in the Caspian Sea. The mature deposits were discovered during the Soviet era and have been redeveloped under a PSC since 2010. In 2020-22, oil and gas production averaged about 4,000 boe/d.
