Report summary
The Kraken Area includes the Kraken and Kraken North heavy oil fields. The fields are located in a heavy oil prone area, close to the Mariner, Bentley and Bressay fields in the Northern North Sea.The Kraken Area has been developed with 32 wells (17 producers and 15 injectors). The wells are tied-back to the leased Armada Kraken FPSO through three drill centre manifolds.The Kraken reservoirs are supported by considerable water injection volumes, with rates of up to 330,000 b/d expected later ...
