Report summary
La Calera is Pluspetrol's first Vaca Muerta project. The block has an advantageous location close to Loma Campana and Fortin de Piedra, which provides access to logistics and infrastructure.The operator launched a pilot in 2018, and since then has consistently de-risked acreage and tested different landing zones. Uncertain market conditions for oil and for gas have delayed the decision to advance to large-scale development of the area.
