Continuing market-friendly E&P policies across most of the region will mean a strong year for exploration, project sanction and M&A in Latin America. But regulatory uncertainty continues to be present in the region. After enormous bonuses were paid to access some of the most prolific acreage in 2017 and 2018, exploration investment will start paying dividends in 2019. But will the region manage to attract enough investment to develop its resource potential? In this report, we assess the three things to look for in 2019 in Latin America.
