We have updated out comprehensive Lower 48 benchmarking analysis with the latest 2019 data. The Lower 48 cost of supply curve for liquids fell an average of 16% from 2017 to 2018. After years of consistently falling, the L48 liquids breakeven cost curve has reached a floor in 2019. The timing of inflection points in cost and productivity trends are the most important drivers. While the entire curve for liquids hasn’t shifted, specific operators continue to decrease breakevens.
