Report summary
LUKOIL has acquired a 50% operated stake in Area 4 (Ichalkil-Pokoch discoveries) from Fieldwood Energy for US$435 million. Located in shallow-water off the coast of Tabasco in the Southwest Marine region, the development is to be completed over three phases and was approved in January 2019. Phase 1 development is nearing completion, with start-up expected in Q3 2021.
