MacKay River
Report summary
The MacKay River project is located in the Athabasca oil sands region of Alberta, approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Fort McMurray. MacKay River is owned and operated by Suncor Energy following its merger with Petro-Canada in August 2009. MacKay River had been Petro-Canada's first commercial in-situ oil sands development.
