The CNH, Mexico's upstream regulatory body, has officially approved the terms for shallow water exploitation areas available in Round One. The auction terms include the tender of nine shallow water fields with 356 mmboe of 2P reserves. The fields on offer are organized in five different contractual areas within the Salinas Sureste Basin.
