Report summary
The Nidoco-operated wet gas fields are located in the shallow waters of the Abu Madi and El Qar'a development leases in the Nile Delta. Production began in 1992 and the partners, Eni and BP have successfully maintained production through near field exploration, making ten discoveries to date. Nooros, is the largest onshore gas discovery in Egypt since 2008 and was brought onstream, via existing infrastructure within two months. The field will help maintain production well into the next decade.
