Report summary

The onshore North Sumatra B Block contains the giant gas condensate field, Arun, and a series of small gas fields. These fields produce gas which is used as feedstock for the PT Arun LNG plant, and an industrial complex of fertiliser plants and paper mills. Following the commissioning of the Arun LNG Plant, commercial gas production started in 1978. By 2014, only one of the six LNG trains is in operation, two were mothballed in 2000, with the other trains ceasing operations over 2005, 2007 ...
