Norway upstream: 5 things to look for in 2018
Report summary
It was a captivating year for the Norway upstream sector in 2017 with record levels of M&A spend, new entrants and a series of significant FIDs. A much hyped Barents campaign failed to deliver but this hasn’t dampened appetites in 2018. 2018 will see companies having another crack at the Barents, FIDs showing no signs of slowing down and an intriguing corporate landscape. It will be fascinating to see if the new wave of independents and PE companies can back up their lofty ambitions.
