OML 116 contains the producing Agbara field, located 45 kilometres offshore. The project consists of a wellhead platform, tied-back to a processing platform. Oil is sent by pipeline to Eni's Brass oil terminal, from where it is exported.Agip Energy and Natural Resources (AENR), a subsidiary of Eni, operated the block under a service contract with NNPC and provided all funds for exploration, development and production up until December 2019.
