Report summary

OML 96 is a small block located at the northwestern edge of the Niger Delta in Edo State. Phillips Petroleum operated the licence until 1986. In 1987 Dubri Oil took it over and became the first indigenous company to operate acreage in Nigeria. The block contains three small commercial fields Gilli Gilli Gilli Gilli North and Ovia.
