Orion (MC 110) is an oil and gas field located in the Flextrend of the Gulf of Mexico. The field produces via three wells drilled from the Amberjack (MC 109) platform in the adjacent block. ExplorationThe Orion discovery well, MC 110 #1, was spudded in October 1983. Oil was encountered at a measured depth of 1,684 metres (5,525 feet) in late-October 1983 and the well was suspended.
