Orion (MC 110)
Report summary
Orion (MC 110) is an oil and gas field located in the Flextrend of the Gulf of Mexico. The field produces via three wells drilled from the Amberjack (MC 109) platform in the adjacent block.In January 2024, Talos Energy announced the acquisition of QuarterNorth Energy for US$1.29 billion. As a result, Talos will acquire 58.33% ownership and operatorship of Orion, bringing its total working interest to 66.67%. The deal is expected to close by Q1 2024.
