Report summary
Plataforma Deltana Block 3 is an exploration licence offshore eastern Venezuela that contains the Macuira gas field. Chevron owns a 100% interest in Block 3. The license was awarded in 2004, and Chevron relinquished part of the block in 2009. The operator has focused on its other Venezuelan assets and a development plan for Block 3 has not been outlined. We classify its reserves as technical and consider the area as a potential future development.
