Report summary
PowerNap (MC 943) is a Shell-operated oil and gas discovery located in southern Mississippi Canyon, approximately 16 kilometres (10 miles) east of Vito and approximately 27 kilometres (17 miles) southeast of the Mars Olympus platform. The discovery is located adjacent to Equinor's Power Nap in MC 942. The field was discovered by Shell in December 2014, where it encountered over 122 net metres (400 feet) of oil-bearing reservoir sands in the Upper and Lower Miocene.
