Report summary
Claiborne (MC 794) is a small Miocene discovery located in the Mississippi Canyon protraction area of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The field was discovered by LLOG in January 2016 but Beacon Offshore took over the operatorship in November 2018. The field ties back to Walter Oil & Gas's Coelacanth platform. First oil was achieved in December 2018 from two wells.
