Q3 pre-FID upstream project tracker: 10 billion boe en route to sanction in 2017

Report summary
With 18 major projects sanctioned, representing nearly 8 billion boe of reserves, 2017 so far represents solid progress on 2016. But with some big pre-FID projects still sitting in the hopper - particularly the 2.4 billion boe South Pars 11 - a target of 10 billion boe appears attainable. We remain well on the way to our January forecast of 20-25 major final investment decisions (FIDs) during the year.
