Quiriquire contains two fields that are predominantly gas rich, namely San Luis and Quiriquire Deep. Exploitation of the San Luis or Quiriquire Deep gas fields was not possible under the original OSA terms. The licence did not allow for the produced gas monetisation or reimbursement of costs associated with the gas fields.
