Reconcavo-Tucano Basin - Other Fields
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Brazil's oil industry was born in the Recôncavo-Tucano basin. In recent years the basin has decreased in importance within Petrobras' portfolio. Nevertheless, it does still receive significant investment as Petrobras focuses on mitigating production decline through the implementation of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies. In the longer term, there is unconventional potential in the form of shale oil and gas.
