Report summary
The Rehmat gas field was discovered in July 2001 by Petronas Carigali, and came onstream in 2005. The field is located in northern Sindh Province, 21 kilometres northwest of the border with India, and within the Mubarik (2769-4) exploration block awarded in 1999. The field was brought onstream after the commissioning of a gas processing plant and less than 12 months after the award of the development licence.
