Currently Samaria-Luna is the highest oil producing onshore business unit in Mexico. Like other Southern region business units, Samaria-Luna is a mature development. It is also an important source of light oil. The Antonio J. Bermúdez complex contains oil with 28 to 31° API gravity that is generally exported as part of the Isthmus blend.
