Shaybah is a super-giant oil and gas field located in southeast Saudi Arabia, in the middle of the Rub' al Khali (Empty Quarter) desert. The Shaybah reservoir is a large anticline, which lies on trend with several big discoveries in Abu Dhabi to the north, such as Shah and Asab.
