Report summary
The Snøhvit Area is an integrated upstream, pipeline and gas liquefaction development. It was the first LNG production facility constructed in Europe and the first north of the Arctic Circle. The Snøhvit, Albatross and Askeladd gas fields have been developed with subsea infrastructure and are tied back directly to a 4.1 million tonnes per annum LNG plant at Melkøya, near Hammerfest.
