Asset Report
South Sumatra Extension PSC
Report summary
South Sumatra PSC contains several mature onshore oil and gas fields in the South Sumatra Province. The block is contiguous with the gas producing Corridor and Lematang PSCs, and the oil producing Rimau PSC - all currently operated by Medco Energi. In October 2010, Medco was granted a 20-year licence extension for the South Sumatra PSC, effective from 2013-2033. Sales gas production from the South Sumatra PSC has been steadily declining after peaking at 128 mmcfd in 2010. Gas is primarily supplied to power generation and fertiliser companies in the southern Sumatra region.
