Report summary
Spring Gully is a coal seam gas (CSG) project located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Queensland. The field lies on the Comet Ridge Permian coal structure, which is considered to be a world class unconventional gas play due to the coal properties and structural setting. Spring Gully is effectively a continuation of the Fairview field. Spring Gully was Origin Energy's key original CSG development project. This analysis values only the gas required to satisfy the domestic gas commitments from Spring Gully. It does not include any gas supplied from Spring Gully to the LNG export projects at Gladstone.
