Uz-Kor Gas Chemical, an Uzbekistan-South Korea JV, operates a US$3.9 billion integrated petrochemical development in northwest Uzbekistan. This consists of the Surgil field (upstream) and Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex (UGCC, downstream).The UGCC was commissioned in 2015 and was one of Uzbekistan's key investment projects in the 2010s.
