Report summary
The Abu, Abu Kecil, Bubu, North Lukut and Penara (AAKBNLP) PSC was licensed to Petronas Carigali in March 2004. The PSC is made up of several small oil fields that were previously discovered by ExxonMobil under the PM8 PSC. Production from the AAKBNLP PSC began in May 2004, with the development of the Penara and North Lukut fields via two wellhead platforms tied back to the leased Bunga Kertas floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).
