The Troldhaugen field was discovered in 2009, on the southern side of the Edvard Grieg field, in the Northern North Sea.Production from an early well test (EWT) commenced in August 2021. The Rolvsnes EWT project consisted of a three-kilometre subsea tie-back to the Edvard Grieg platform. A plan for development and operation (PDO) for a full field development was submitted in December 2022. The plan will include two production wells tied-back back to Edvard Grieg. Full field production will start in 2026.
