Report summary
Ulysses (MC 583) is a small oil and gas field located in the northwestern portion of the Mississippi Canyon protraction area. The field has been developed as a single-well subsea tie-back to the Medusa Spar located in MC 582. Drilling in block MC 583 was initiated in September 1987 by Shell, which drilled a dry hole and relinquished the block in 1994.
