Vallares, the newly formed investment fund led by financier Nathaniel Rothschild and the former BP CEO, Tony Hayward, has made its first acquisition since raising US$2 billion in June. The deal will merge Vallares with Genel Energy International (Genel), with the new company to be run by the Vallares management team. Vallares shareholders and Genel shareholders will each own 50%.
