The West-East Pipeline III originates from Horgos City in Xinjiang and terminates at Fuzhou in Fujian Province, crossing a total of ten provinces including Xinjiang, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian and Guangdong. The pipeline is 6,840 kilometres in length and has a designed transporting capacity of 30 bcm annually (2,902 mmcfd). The pipeline mainly takes gas from the Line C of Turkmenistan-China Gas Pipeline, with coal-based synthetic gas in Xinjiang being the supplement supply source. Construction ...
