The West Nile Delta gas fields is a flagship BP-operated investment in Egypt currently comprising three development phases. The fields lie offshore, around 50 kilometres north of Alexandria. Five of the fields lie on the North Alexandria concessions, whilst the largest, the high-temperature and high-pressure Raven field straddles the North Alexandria and West Mediterranean Deep concessions. An agreement to develop the fields was reached in 2015.
