The giant South Tambeiskoye gas condensate field lies on the remote Yamal Peninsula in West Siberia. The peninsula is expected to become the new LNG production centre in Russia as well as a major contributor to Russian gas production.The 33 tcf South Tambeiskoye field will supply feedgas to Yamal LNG a three train 16.5 mmtpa facility.
